Some random things I’ve been enjoying:

halt-and-catch-fireHalt & Catch Fire

Loving this TV show. I care about the characters. They’re imperfect and wonderful. Eek, I’m up to the finale… I almost don’t want to know what happens!

Battlestar Galactica

This is a TV show from 2004, but at the time I thought it was something like Star Trek and I never gave it a shot. James convinced me to start watching it… we’re slowly plowing through the seasons.

<3 always.

Rosehip oil

I’m terribly skeptical of anything beauty-related, so I only tried rosehip oil very recently… and I don’t even know why. On a whim! And now I’m in love. I put it on after washing my face, morning and night, and I love the smell (unlike most people, it seems!) and the feeling on my skin. Makes me feel nice.

Weleda body oils

I’ve never tried body oils before, but I’ve been on a scent rampage, and I tried these on a whim too. Love them. I slowly aim to gobble them all up, one by one.

Zen Moments candle

A darling friend gave me the orange & cinnamon candle and by jove, it is scrumptious! Some candles are sickly sweet, or weird, but this one is beautiful.

Perfect Potion Jet Setter Mist

I’ve collected a few mists over the years (Perfect Potion, Jurlique, Aesop, Crabtree & Evelyn) and I pop a different one each month or so in my everyday bag, so that I have different scents and mix it up. They are stimulating and happy-making, like a little pep talk.

Earl Grey tea

Not very exciting, but jeez I love it. I drink gallons of the stuff.

Watermelon, orange, pink… no particular favourites, just bright colour!

smoothiesBanana smoothies

Yum. My recipe is simple: 1 banana, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup fruity yogurt, teaspoon of honey, cinnamon.

My new desk setup

My desk was in the ‘sunroom’ area, which can easily be freezing cold, and all through winter I’ve brought my laptop and work into the lounge room and used the coffee table instead… finally, I moved the desk into the lounge. Much better.
